Media Mayhem Corporation is a full-service Advertising Representation firm. Our services include online and offline marketing, and event sponsorships. We specialize in building lifestyle-based advertising solutions for our clients and engaging consumer audiences through branded film, music, art, fashion, sports, technology, entertainment and lifestyle experiences, across niche vertical markets.
We are an advertising firm that goes far beyond a typical online advertising network. We represent all of our publishers on an exclusive site-specific basis allowing our advertising clients to customize their advertising and media buys. We allow our clients to pick and choose individual websites in order to meet their campaign’s target demographic.

We believe that a company’s media, promotions and public relations strategy must integrate with its advertising strategy. Campaigns that are scalable and broad in scope, both culturally and demographically, and attract enormous media coverage and continue to grow as consumers look for ways to engage in new and nostalgic experiences with family/peers. As such, we focus on using online and offline initiatives as a medium that delivers an ongoing emotional attachment between companies and their target consumers to drive brand awareness, brand loyalty and brand demand.
Management
Jeff Chi – Co-Founder/CEO
Jeff Chi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Media Mayhem Corporation. Chi created the online advertising giant that is now MMC in October of 2006 after spending four years as Vice President of Ad Operations at Gorilla Nation Media.
As VP of Ad Operations at GNM, Chi managed operations for over four years, growing the company from 3 employees to 120 plus by the time he decided to move on and pursue other ventures. Chi assisted in coordinating ad trafficking and sales, and maintained a smooth and tight operating ship during his stay.
Chi earned a BS degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University where he majored in Information Systems and was a Junior Developer with the University's field stations. As a JD, Chi developed database applications on PHP platform, debugged JavaScript code, created Visual Basic code to run applications as well as adding hard code to HTML while designing front-end applications.
Equipped with knowledge and expertise in all essential toolbox functions from critical Windows programs to programming and data structure, as well as design, analysis, flash, HTML, operations management, HR finance, economics and dozens of other business operations, Chi reached a personal and professional benchmark in fall 2006 and was ready to branch out on his own.
With dreams and goals united, Chi began to strategize and coordinate the platform for Media Mayhem’s future efforts, while managing its fast-growing sales, trafficking, accounting and business development departments. Currently Chi has created an empire staffed with the best experts in the field.
As of 2008, Jeff Chi has achieved half of the original objectives set forth at the launch of MMC just two short years ago. The journey continues with each and every new client MMC partners with, and Chi looks forward to having his vision joined with a spirit of success and accomplishment that will push forward Media Mayhem’s dominance as the industry leader in online media.
Scott Messick – Co-Founder/President
Scott Messick joined Co-Founder and Vice President Eric Willis and Co-Founder Jeff Chi in 2006 to be on the ground floor of what would become Media Mayhem Corporation. Messick came via Savvy.com in 2006 after spending over 4 years as the company’s Director of Operations.
At Savvy (Tri-Media Corp), Messick managed over daily marketing and advertising operations as well as successfully deploying and managing a solid marketing strategy resulting in over 7 million unique visitors a month along with Willis creating a powerhouse team to be reckoned with.
Messick is credited with creating the underground marketing strategy commonly referred to as Publisher Pay Per Click Program (PPPC). PPPC opened a new window to the world of Internet traffic that had not been seen before and those results paid off in spades as Messick turned a small start up web site and turned it into a top 3 lifestyle site on the Internet.
With a Marketing and Technical Management degree, Scott is able to use the best of both worlds using a combination of futuristic thinking and development and key strategic formulas for online marketing relationships around the world.
Scott Messick’s desire to develop a true online advertising and marketing company that exclusively understood the needs of advertisers and publishers is now entering its second year with MMC and the ceiling of possibilities is unlimited.
Eric Willis – Co-Founder/Vice President
Eric Willis is the co-founding partner and MMC Vice President that helps to steer the firm into 21 st century. With a backbone of steel and revolutionary concepts that are changing the way Fortune 500 companies do their online advertising, Willis has the experience and the rolodex to back up his word.
With a degree in computer science in the 1990s, Willis went in armed with the knowledge he was going to need as the wild, wild, west dot com bubble bonanza hit its zenith at the perfect time. Willis was specializing as an Internet technologies network and securities manager for numerous Fortune 500 companies, laying the ground work for the future.
As the ever changing field of technology evolved, so did Willis. In 1999 he began a 4 year stint with Exodus Communication Inc., as a Network Security Engineer and in 2002 Willis became Co-Founder and Managing Director of Tri-Media Corporation (Savvy.com), where he managed daily operations and whose team deployed a successful marketing strategy driving over seven million monthly unique visitors vaulting savvy.com making it the 3 rd largest men’s lifestyle portal on the web.
With the ability to structure business development, conduct traffic analysis, be responsible for internal IT network and services as well as Ad Revenue Optimization and Web Server Administration, Willis quickly made a name for himself in the industry that you could turn to when a business needed a specialist in configuration, troubleshooting, and network management.
Sophia Martin – National Director of Sales
Sophia Martin is National Director of Sales with MMC. A graduate of UCLA with a B.A. in Economics, Martin joined MMC in 2006 after a successful tenure at Gorilla Nation Media where she facilitated advertiser and agency relationships as an Account Executive on GNM’s sales team.
In her two years with MMC, Martin has taken over the Mayhem sales team where she leads and directs them while developing and managing the company’s sales strategy and fiscal goals for each campaign. Sophia also initiates discussions with other agencies and advertisers while delivering integrated campaigns with major corporate brands including Honda, CBS, Lions Gate Films, 20th Century Fox amongst others.
Sophia has become a shooting star in the cyber heavens with her rapid understanding of the client’s needs and executing the right course of action with their vision.
Jamie Ashe - VP of Business Development
Jamie Ashe is the product of a solid education and computer network launching family. Her father was an integral part of building and launching the 1990's online network,” Prodigy", so the apple did not fall far from the cyber tree.
Jamie graduated from high school at the age of 15. Receiving numerous awards and scholarships including the prestigious 'National Merit Honor Scholar'. Quickly educated. Jamie earned her B. S. in Computer Science, a B.A. In Journalism and then her MBA by the age of 21.
She then went on to receive her PhD just three years later at the age of 25.She the led the technology industry as Vice President of Sales for Top Speed Corporation and later Sales Manager for EurekaGGN during the dot com boom. It was in 2001 she decided to join the media giant AOL Time Warner. During her tenure at AOL, she was the number one sales and advertising executive. Recognized for outstanding sales achievements, she was award 'Top Sales Person of the Year for 2001 and 2002'. She also won the prized 'Managers Over Achiever Award' for both years, and in her last year, Jamie was nominated for AOL Time Warner's "Samurai of the Year Award" for overall contributions to the company.
In 2003 she was recruited by Microsoft Corporation and relocated to Los Angeles. Industry competition has never been a factor. In her position as Senior Advertising Executive, Ashe once again became the Top Sales Person in her division within just the first 6 months of employment. Determined to be an industry leader and pioneer she continued to contribute to the worlds most prestigious advertising companies such as ValueClick and Vendare Media.
Over the last decade Jamie has been summoned to speak at advertising conventions such as Ad-Tech in New York. Recently she was selected as one Microsoft 'Top 500 Executives In The World' at the Summit in Washington and invited to have dinner with CEO Bill Gates.
In 2005 she joined forces with Medium21, an on-line advertising and marketing agency in which she is the current Vice President of Sales. With an additional office in Palm Beach she is recognized as one of the most powerful female executives in the advertising industry with her strength and abilities to ink lucrative celebrity endorsement deals as well as award winning marketing campaigns for her clients such as Bodog.com whom recently won the 2005 e-Gaming Awards 'Best Online Marketing Award.'
Jamie is always available to her clients like a sports agent is to their players. Developing a sense of trust and a mentality that the proof is indeed in the pudding...Ashe makes it happen. A consummate professional...Jamie truly defines the term "Grace Under Pressure".
Jamie now brings her talent to Media Mayhem corporation as the Vice President of Business Development.
Ellen Kellybrew – Director of Ad Operations
After a successful two year stint with Gorilla Nation Media, Ellen Kellybrew joined MMC as the company was launching operations in 2006. Kellybrew brings with her a strong educational background with a BS in Computer Information Systems as well as enough experience in cutting edge technology in the world of Online Ad Operations.
At GNM, Kellybrew was Traffic Manager where she gained experience in ad serving technologies and complex campaign management. She grew a quick reputation for rapid problem solving and meeting the needs of the client beyond expectations.
Since joining MMC, Kellybrew has implemented all processes necessary to manage the engine that makes MMC run on a 24/7/365 basis. While implementing an Ad Serving platform, a client list in the hundreds as well as offering Publisher and Client Support , she ensures that all processes are correctly in place and giving peace of mind to the buyers in which MMC prides itself on giving to all of its clients.
